This should be forbidden... False statements about the reason of departure. The employer should allways make an official document stating the reason of departure, and this should be signed by both the employer and the employee. Of course this is not a law (yet) nor does it seem applicable in every situation. But is it could prevent situations like this one.
Let me at least say this: Knightwise allways replied and helped me with IT problems. He is a friendly, hardworking and dedicated person.
