Ternaaien.
As you can see, i've found out how to post pictures to my blogg. Today's trail run of this function features some pictures i took last year at the fortress of Eben Emael. http://www.fort-eben-emael.be/ A Belgian stronhold agains the German invasion in WW2. The pictures I selected where the ones who, for me , spanned the bridge between the horror of war and the beauty of nature. The warm sunny day and the bright sun shining over the outstretched bunkers and domes give the whole place a peacefull glow. But in real life, war has waged all too violently. It is somehow very similar to the way I am feeling these days. As babylon is burning on into the ashes of oblivion I keep the sun shining on my face. As the landscape of my soul looks peacefull and at ease it is hard to believe how war once raged there. I have seen my fair share of battles .. and somehow am to fatigued to wage old wars once agian. I bunker out the enemy and hide my troops deep beneath domes of steel and concrete.
